Lance Black
As a founding partner, Lance has been at Gabb from the beginning. As VP of Marketing, he has been instrumental in facilitating the company’s explosive growth, and has led marketing efforts on every product release. Before helping to launch Gabb, Lance was a partner and CEO of EKR creative agency, where he forged and re-forged brands to create lasting business value. In addition to his agency work, Lance was a partner for Truss leadership network.Growing up, Lance wrangled horses on his family’s dude ranch and learned the importance of effective communication and customer experience. As a dedicated father of six, Lance knows how critical it is to stay connected with family—his leadership at Gabb reflects his focus.
Director of Product, Wearables, Gabb
Chad Baucom
Chad has been with Gabb for four years and currently serves as Director of Product. He led the development of Gabb’s first fully custom hardware, firmware, and software product—the Gabb Watch 3—and played a key role in all previous Gabb Watches and accessories. Prior to Gabb, Chad led Verizon’s Trade-In Program and co-founded a mobile gaming accessories company, where he served as Chief Product Officer. A lifelong entrepreneur, he has launched, acquired, and sold multiple businesses throughout his career. Originally from Salt Lake City’s Sugar House neighborhood, Chad has also lived in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and the New York metro area—but Utah remains home. A father of six, Chad draws inspiration from his own family to guide product features at Gabb, always creating with real families in mind.
CEO & Founder, Memfault
François Baldassari
François Baldassari is the CEO and Co-Founder of Memfault. An embedded software engineer by trade, François was driven to start Memfault by his passion for tooling and automation in software engineering. Prior to Memfault, he ran the firmware team at Oculus and built the operating system at Pebble. François has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Brown.

Chris Coleman
Chris Coleman is the CTO and Co-Founder of Memfault. Prior to founding Memfault, Chris was an embedded software engineer at Pebble and Fitbit where he led efforts across the firmware stack and developed a reputation for tracking down and fixing challenging firmware bugs. That, coupled with his passion for using tooling to efficiently deliver high-quality hardware products, drove him to start Memfault.
